These poison dart frogs wear the most brilliant colors on earth. These amphibians can be colored gold, yellow, green, red, and copper. But what if their habitat changed? So, poison dart frogs live in Costa Rica, Brazil, French Guiana, and mostly anywhere in South America. What if something happened? They would probably adapt. Adapting is when the creature has to change to survive the world around them. Here are some adaptions: Poison Dart Frogs have toxins in their skin that can paralyze or kill potential predators. These frogs use their excellent sense of vision to help capture prey. They have long tongues to help them get food easier. I am truly amazed at these amphibians unique adaptations. The poison dart frogs used to have short tongues, but now they have long sticky tongues to grasp for food more easily.
