Jaguar the Protector

The tropical jaguar is most commonly found in the Amazon rain forest and the Pantanal. The jaguar is successful in the tropical rain forest due to them being a strong foe to go up against, they also control animal populations to help maintain a balanced food chain and keep a healthy ecosystem. In the future the jaguar could possibly be modified to help protect people. In the future, with species going extinct it is possible that they could be modified for warfare or protection purposes. In this possible future, the jaguars have been modified by the humans to protect what little remains of the Amazon. I predict gorillas may evolve to speak by this point and may act aggressively against the humans which is why Jaguars will have to evolve to be domesticated for protection. They will need to listen to commands and be fitted with equipment to help protect.
