If an inland rainforest becomes a savanna due to climate change, one of the creatures that would adapt to this change would be the tree frog. The biggest difference that the tree frog would face is that just like the burrowing frogs of Australia, they would adapt to dig underground for shelter instead of using the trees. The tree frog would grow larger also due to it needing more defense and not needing to be nimble to jump across trees anymore. The color of tree frogs would almost be a complete chance of having the color of brown for skin and wouldn’t have any chance of green skin due to the tree frog needing camouflage to blend into the savanna. The stages of life for tree frogs would change too, with them perhaps laying eggs in their burrows instead of ponds and for tadpoles to hatch with legs.
