Resplendent Quetzal

The animal I chose is the resplendent quetzal. The rainforest in Costa Rica is wet, cool, damp, foggy, misty, colorful, shady. My animal is adpated because it has shiny feathers to blend into wet leaves. Climate change might make this forest hot, dry, sandy, and treeless. One adaptation that would help my animal is a bigger body for defense and less shiny feathers.
