My project is about the adaptations of a jaguar from its current habitat (the coastal rainforest) to the habitat I predict it will have in 1000 years (the wetland/swamp). Some adaptations that change include how it gets around, its prey, and its home / where it sleeps. Its movement goes from climbing to swimming, its prey becomes mostly animals that live in water or trees, and its home goes from caves and trees to only trees. These are some of the many predicted adaptations that I think the jaguar will go through in 1000 years. All of these adaptations are because of water rise. In conclusion, the jaguar will adapt very much because of climate change causing water rise.
