The Cock-of-the-Rock lives in an inland tropical rainforest. The males have colorful feathers to attract mates, while the females have drab coloring to hide from predators. They have strong claws and legs for rock climbing. They eat mostly fruit. In the future, due to climate change, the tropical rainforest will turn into a savanna. The bird will have to change what it eats because no fruits grow in the savanna, so it will develop a sharper beak to help it eat bugs with hard shells. The Cock-of-the-Rock will also grow spikes on parts of its body to protect itself from its predators. I think since the savanna is mostly plains, it can grow taller legs to see where its predators are over the tall grass. Because the females are already brown, the males will have to change its feather color to blend in with the surroundings.
