Sky High Butterfly

The Amazon rainforest is predicted to turn into a savanna in roughly 30 years. I think the Blue Morpho butterfly can evolve within 30 years. Therefore, it can survive climate change. The future habitat will be much warmer. The butterfly needs to cool off. The butterfly will change from a vivid blue to light blue to reflect more sunlight. The triangular wings will turn rectangular for longer hang time. Generally, a rectangle paper plane flies longer in the air than a triangle plane because a rectangle shaped plane provides more surface area to create lift. Hang time matters because the longer the hang time, the less energy needed to fly. To this day, the Blue Morpho butterfly sucks the juice from plants, dead animals, and fruits. But when many trees disappear, there will not be enough fruits available. The insect may need to rely on dead animals and plants only.
