The Amazon River Dolphin lives in the Amazon River. It eats fish which adds to its pink coloring. There are lots of trees, it is very wet, and there are lots of plants.
In the future due to climate change, the Amazon River Dolphin’s environment will change from being a wet rainforest land with a bunch of plants to being a dry savanna with lots of pollution. There will be fewer trees due to deforestation and will be less green and more tan. It will develop tougher skin with darker colors because of the pollution in the water. This will help them hide from future predators that might come into the Amazon River. It will need to swim faster to escape its predators and catch its prey. Due to overfishing, the Amazon River Dolphin might need to eat more plants and seaweed because there would be less fish to eat.
