The Rufous- Tailed Jacamar (Galbula ruficauda) lives in the south and central of America, Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico and Argentina. Normally they are 25 cm in length and a beak of 2 inches. It eats butterflies, wasps, dragonflies and flying insects. Jacamars are insectivores meaning they eat insects.
They will change their color to match the chopped down trees. They will be brown and cyan to match the sky. They will be less of a picky eater so they will also eat worms and all insects smaller than them. Due to global warming causing more wildfires to glide away from them they will grow better more aerodynamic wings and their tails will be shorter for speed. They will grow a longer beak to pick out insects from tree stumps. To hide from predators they will dig into tree stumps.
