Climate change is a big problem in our world and has many effects on our environment. But not only it affects our environment but also the species living on our earth. One species in particular is the Sloth. The Sloth lives in many different places including central and Northern South America. They hide away on the canopy level of the forest. Due to deforestation, sloths may need to one day adapt to living on the ground. This may lead to them decreasing in size, hind legs growth increases, and their color becomoming more tan. Their habitat may develop more into a savannah. Being smaller can help them bury themselves into the dirt to hide from predators, the hind legs getting bigger can make them more stronger and faster, and their color changing into a tan color will help them blend in with their new environment.
