Jaguars are apex predators who play a vital role within their ecosystem. Jaguars maintain populations and biodiversity, and they contribute to seed dispersal. During ten million years jaguars would most likely have a different color pattern due to several types of pollution and drier climates, jaguars may also have a shift in their diet, they due to a possible decline in prey species they will probably have to become opportunistic hunter and be considerably more smaller than they were previously. Pollution will have major effects on animals in the future if humans do not solve the problem now.
