Lemurs currently adapt in trees and forests due to their phrasing fingers and toes. They use their tail for balance and for visual signals. Ring-tailed lemurs have different communication abilities, some include vocalizing, facial expressions, and scent marking. These are some of the most vocal primates. Lemurs also have important habitats they stick to. A lemur's habitat is full of trees in dense forest, wetlands, and mountains. The habitat is important to their climbing habits and collecting food. However, all of lemurs ' current adaptations and habits will change because of the people in Madagascar removing the trees. Lemurs will adapt to the environment by jumping farther across to different trees. Their bodies will lengthen and so will their fingers and toes. Due to their home forests slowly starting to disappear, lemurs now must act as flying squirrels. They will jump very far to move to different locations and gather food.
