The Savanna Scarlet Macaw

For my environmental change, the Mexican rainforest partially turns into a savanna due to temperatures and deforestation joining the nearby savanna. The eastern part turns into a marsh forcing the rest of the parrots to go west too. The scarlet macaw will change its diet as fruits and nuts are much rarer while smaller animals aren’t, it will also have to compete with predators like the golden eagle. The scarlet macaw becomes a much more predatory bird losing some of its attributes and gaining more height and weight. Its beak loses some of its size and angle to make it better at swooping in for prey instead of eating nuts and fruits. Its colors become dim and closer to that of its environment including many browns. Its talons that were used for having a tight grip on branches could be used to grab on to their prey.
