The present capybaras live in wetlands in the Amazon rainforest and have webbed feet. They also have large heads to help them see and breathe in the water. Climate change will cause the environment to turn into a wetland that has ponds, not one big lake but many ponds. The future capybara will have sharper teeth to bite predators and to bite grass for food and shelter. They will also have larger eyes with better eyesight to keep away from predators. They make shelter from the wetland grasses, and they form them into a hut. They can camouflage with the dead, dry grass. Capybaras live in groups of families which helps them stay protected.
