Desert Tan Okapi

My animal is an okapi. I believe the rainforest is going to turn into a desert because global warming is going to dry the earth out. I changed the thick, oily, fur to thick skin because the oily skin kept it dry and it no longer needs that. I gave it thick skin because it keeps it from water loss. The tongue changed from long tongue to reach trees to a thick tongue to eat spiky plants. Its colors changed from brown and white stripes to light brown since there are no longer trees for sunlight to get through. The okapi’s future name is Desert Tan Okapi
