The glass frog is a pretty, light green that is partially see through so that you can see the stomach, lungs, and other internal organs. Their behavior during the day finds them in camouflage, sleeping on tree leaves. They eat spiders and insects like ants and flies. These creatures lay their eggs in water droplets that collect on leaves. Glass frogs live in the humid rainforest and need high humidity such as that found in Colombia, Costa Rica, and Panama. If this frog’s habitat changes over time to become more of a woodland forest, they will adapt by altering their camouflage abilities, potentially by adjusting the transparency of its skin or changing its coloration to better blend in with its new environment.
