Blue Pit Viper

The blue pit viper is blue and scaly which helps it quietly move to ambush prey. They are nocturnal, arboreal and use venom to incapacitate prey. Most active at nighttime, they live in trees in monsoon forests.Their diet ranges widely from birds to frogs and small mammals. In 1000 years I think that the southeast Asia rainforest will become a saltwater marsh thanks to the melting ice caps and rising sea level. This snake will have to adapt greatly to withstand these conditions. To adapt to the watery condition, they will hunt fish. Furthermore, it might grow gills and an ancient theropod tooth like Ziphodont Teeth which are sharp teeth that are curved to help dig into its prey and hold it there. This puts them in a stuck state due to the teeth. If they try to pry away it will only cause further damage.
