The current state of the iguana is perfect for his environment in a giant rainforest with large trees they can climb on and go up far heights and find food like dragons flies and small bugs to eat. Rising sea levels are the biggest problem due to climate change because glaciers are melting, which will cause the land to be underwater the
Since the land will be underwater, the iguana will have to adapt by making there skin a grayish tan color to blend in with the coral and sand to hide from predatory fish in the water unlike on land where they have clawed hands and can blend in with the green trees. They will also have webbed feet to swim around in the water and gills to breathe underwater and use their short razor sharp teeth to eat and hunt smaller fish than them to live off of.
