Tarsiers are small creatures that live in rainforests, typically found around southeast Asia, by the Philippines, Sumatra, and Borneo, to name a few. Living there, they are used to hot, moist, tropical weather, with a lot of rain and a dense canopy. They have sticky hands for gripping trees and long tails to help balance. However, this habitat is being threatened by fires, deforestation, and hunting. Tarsiers will have to adapt to a new environment. Deforestation and intense storms are destroying trees, which house tarsiers, this could cause the tarsiers to eventually have claws for digging, helping them get new shelter and find food. They would also lose their long tail, sticky hands, and long ankle bones since they wouldn’t have a use anymore. Their diet would likely stay the same, since it consists of small insects and lizards. They could gain a longer tongue to hunt small prey.
