The Harpy Eagle is the largest eagle in the world. The eagles live in the Amazon Rainforest in South America. The Amazon rainforest has a bad problem of deforestation and wildfires. The Harpy Eagle is a habitat hurting because of these things. It has to adapt to new environments. The eagles are brown and yellow. A harpy eagle eats sloths and monkeys. Sometimes even large birds. They can even go a week or more without any food. The wildfires are running the environment. All the wildfires are burning down the trees so there is no more room for the Harpy Eagle to live. They have to live on the ground in the grass so their body changes. Their faces turn green, and they lose their claws. They have to adapt to their new environment. The Harpy eagle is a great animal and it will adapt to its environment greatly.
