FutureCreatures The Red Scarlet Macaw lives in the South American Rainforest .The bird sleeps and relaxes In treetops. The Red Scarlet Macaw eats fresh fruit,nuts,berries,seeds, and edible flowers. Its feathers are brightly colored and make them easy to spot, but because of its brightly colored feathers it has wings to fly away. They often make new tree homes because they love to fly. It will have a big change In the next 1000 years the Red Scarlet Macaw home turns into a marsh. In order to blend in and stay away from predators their color will change to the same as the marsh water. The Red Scarlet Macaw wings will not be used for flying but will be used for swimming in the marsh. Its food will have to be seeds they have to learn to go underwater.
