Spider monkeys live in central America's tropical rainforest. They have long tails to swing from branch to branch. They are very big to scare predators if they are spotted. They also brownish black to blend into the trees. Over thousands of years, due to rising sea levels the rainforest where the spider monkeys live will be flooded. The new monkeys (fish monkeys), will adapt to the different habitat. They will turn greenish black to blend into the flood water. Their hands will become webbed, and the tails will become a fin for swimming. Their lungs will also grow for long dives.
