Leopards live in the Congo Rainforest in West and Central Africa. They hunt reptiles, mammals and fish in their daily life. They use their skin to blend in with bushes and other parts of their tropical rainforest. They use their tail and super sharp teeth to capture prey. They sleep in caves in tall trees. They are also nocturnal and hunt prey at night while they sleep.
Since global sea levels have increased 111mm from 1993 to 2024, scientists predict that the water level will continue to increase. The Congo Rainforest will sink. The leopards must adapt. First, since leopards have bright yellow skin, they’ll have to get leaves from sunken bushes to cover themselves with camouflage. Second, They will go into dark corners of rivers to sleep. Lastly, they will have to start eating plants and eat fish. Leopards will survive.
