Anaconda in the Future

Anacondas live in the Amazon Rainforest. They are olive green with black oval spots to camouflage. They can burrow into mud when getting chased by predators. They can also retreat to water. They are great swimmers. In the future, the Amazon will be a savannah. The temperature will rise by an estimated 3.5 degrees in the next 1000 years. Anacondas will change colors from their present day color to a light brown color so they can camouflage with the savannah. They will grow legs so they can run away fast from their predators. Anacondas will grow a tail so they can store food and water in their body so they can have food ready when they're hungry. They will have fewer and thinner scales so they do not overheat. Their bodies will shrink and get stronger so they can run away faster. They will adapt and survive.
