The fossa have been going extinct because of habitat loss/habitat destruction because they mostly live in trees and where they live at the Madagascar rainforest and over there are alot of people over there cutting down the big trees and that's causing habitat loss because fossas like living on the higher tree branches and since they are cutting down trees the fossas will have no tree branches to sleep or just stay on so it is very possible that they will start going to move into the nearby cities or just small towns and they will probably live on the roofs of houses since they like being on top of trees and as for their physical change they will have bigger and stronger legs and their tail will get bigger as well and as for their food supply they will have to steal food from the villagers.
