Did you know that climate change could make animals change too? One example is the jaguar. Jaguars are big, strong, and fast cats that can run up to 50 miles an hour! They live in rainforests in places like Argentina, El Salvador, and Bolivia. But because of climate change, rainforests might get flooded and turn into large oceans. If this happens, jaguars will have to adapt to survive. They could evolve into better swimmers, even growing flippers and a fin to help them swim. Their diet would also change since there would be less food. Jaguars would start eating birds and fish instead of other animals. They would move like dolphins, with a torpedo-shaped body to swim faster and more efficiently. Their fur might even turn blue so they can blend in with the water and stay hidden while hunting.
