The tamarin monkey is a very amazing animal. This animal lives in the Southwest Amazon Basin. This monkey is very light weight with a gray body and an orange tail. It’s very sad that this majestic animal is losing more and more of its habitat every day due to deforestation. Deforestation is a big problem, right now people are cutting down 18 trees per second in the amazon. This will cause their environment to have close to no trees in the future. One adaptation that they might evolve into having is their hands and feet turn into a paw. This is because there will be no trees to swing on so they will have paws to run fast to escape predators. They will also get lighter skin color because there are no trees to shade the animal. This is what the Tamarin Monkey will likely evolve into if deforestation continues.
