The Green Honeycreeper is a bird with many adaptations, striking colors and other amazing adaptations. Most notably its long tongue that comes out of its curved beak, the long tongue is to harvest nectar from plants while the curved beak evolved to pick fruit and insects from trees. What will this wonderful bird look like, behave like, and how will it evolve in the next thousands of years with global warming?
The Green Honeycreeper thousands of years later will most likely be extinct. But if it is not extinct, the color will probably be more gray to camouflage onto buildings and the underside will be darker to accept with smoke. It will be smaller and very sneaky. The environment will be harsh and unforgiving so will the birds killing each other for food and mates. This is assuming that global warming is on the same track as nowaday.
