Sloths Against The Future

The animal I chose is a sloth, they are slow and eat plants in the rain forest. For my future illustration the sloth is in a savanna because of the rising temperatures throughout time. As the sloth adapts, the fur blends in with the grass/shrubs, but due to hot temperatures the sloth does not have a thick coat. For defense, the sloth has sharp claws and teeth, but also short limbs so they can move faster to run from predators. Lastly for food, they have a longer neck to reach leaves/bugs on trees, but since there are fewer trees in the savanna they have adapted to eating shrubs on the ground that have bugs, leaves, and flowers.
