Orangutans currently live in South Asian rainforests where there are a lot of vines, trees that they swing from, etc. The trees also provide a lot of nutrients such as fruits and vegetables for their survival. The trees and vines also create a living habitat for the orangutans. This means they’re herbivores, which means that they only eat fruits and veggies. Since all the fruits and vegetables are going to be gone due to the climate change, it means that they won’t have any food or water to drink because everything will be frozen. Since climate change hits, it’ll be cold now and not warmer and the water will be frozen, the trees will be gone, there won’t be any vines to swing on, and there won’t be food. Scientists have already predicted that in the future orangutans are most likely to go extinct in the next 50 years.
