These are the adaptations of the harpy eagle. Harpy eagles have talons to capture prey. They have wings to carry their immense weight in the sky. They have tail feathers to keep balance. They have a beak to eat and communicate. Their gray feathers blend in with rocks and mountains, also known as camouflage. They have a big body to intimidate other animals. Their eyes are black. They can see very far which helps them hunt.
Harpy eagles will live In a savanna In the future. Firstly they will have brown and yellow-brown feathers to camouflage with the wood and grass. Secondly they will grow feathers above their eyes to shield from the sun. They wiIll also grow In size to be about the seize of a 8 foot man. They will grow sharp claws (NOT TALONS) for ripping apart their prey. Prey includes lions, mice, smaller birds and more.
