In 5,000 years, tropical rainforests will be flooded, and animals will have to adapt to survive. Ocelots will develop a light brown fur color, blending in with the water that will surround all the trees. Ocelots will start being more social and start sleeping in the same shelter, the long trees that the flooding hadn’t knocked down. They will start to live in more communal ways and will likely be seen hunting and living together, and will work together to deal with any predator trying to enter their home. They will have to rely on fish more than anything, adapting the marine mammal's ability to store oxygen in their blood and muscles, and they will develop thicker coats to keep from the cold temperatures and for minimal damage if attacked by a big fish or one of their predators.
