Toucan Transformation

The toucan lives in the tropics. Due to rising temperatures the toucan would need to adapt to survive in the future habitat. First, the toucan would have to physically adapt to hide from predators. The birds' feathers and beak will have to be less bright. Second, the bird would have to eat more insects and more animal prey. Its stomach will have to learn to digest more meat. The bird will develop a water storage system in his body and be able to hold water for long lengths of time to survive drought climate.
