The Okapi (Okapia Johnstoni) is quite the unique animal. It is mostly found in the DRC (Democratic Republic of the Congo) rainforests. It is a herbivore (eats plants) because there are a lot of plants in rainforests. Its worst predators are big cats. It protects itself by camouflaging with its brown and white stripes and brown color. It’s diurnal just like those big cats. Due to climate change and the world getting hotter in thousands of years I predict some rainforests may turn into savanas. I predict there will be cacti so the okapi mite adapt to have resistant saliva to eat said cacti. Also the okapi might have darker skin to blend in. It might have stronger hooves to be able to walk farther distances. Also there could be less plants so the okapi will adapt to eat some bugs.
