The Red-eyed tree frog

The Red-eyed tree frog is a popular animal in the tropical rainforest with bright colored eyes to ward off predators, smooth green skin to blend into leaves, and long legs for fast traversal. He also has sticky pads for sticking to leaves. These adaptations help the tree frog to thrive in its environment. However, over thousands of years due to rising changes in global warming, the rainforest has turned into a savannah like grassland. Because of this, the Red-eyed tree frog has adapted to better suit his current habitat. The frog's skin has become scaly with a brown/grey color to them, and his legs have gotten shorter for more walking and climbing. His sticky pads are gone due to the rough terrain and his eyes have changed to a gray color. These new adaptations help the red eyed tree frog thrive in his changed environment.
