Salamanders' current habitat is around a wet area, normally ponds, brooks, or lakes. They need to be moist or wet all the time to survive. I think that due to the rising sea levels, the wet areas around the body of water will be gone, so the salamanders will have to adapt to somewhere else. I think that since they are currently shrinking in size, they will adapt to fully live in the water at all times. I think they will lose their spots so that they are harder to see by predators. I predict that they will eventually lose their arms and legs for easier swimming in the water, and their tail will grow longer.
