The eagles' habitat used to be surrounded by trees, where eagles used to sit on the branches. Eagles used to get all of their food from water where there was crystal clear blue water filled with fish to enjoy. Now, there are very few trees because the majority of them burned down in forest fires. There is still a body of water but it is severely polluted and is a darker color then it used to be. The adaptation eagles would acquire are shorter beaks because they learned to not get all of their food from the water. They had to learn to get their food from elsewhere because there are not a lot of fish anymore, due to the fact that there is so much pollution in the water. Eagles heads would start to become a darker grayish color because of the dust and debris in the air.
