A Tarsier (Tarsius) is found in the Rainforest of the Philippines. They have incredibly large eyes to help maximize their sensitivity in low light, large hands to help them cling trees, long tails to help them stand up on tree branches and prepare to leap, and long tarsals to help propel them while leaping. The Rainforest in the Philippines, over time, will suffer a drought due to deforestation and fire degrading the forest along edges and roads. Tarsiers tarsals will become smaller due to the lack of things to leap on. Tarsier’s eyes will become more round due to continuous low-light environments. Their hands will become smaller due to the lack of trees to climb, and their tails will shorten due to a lack of trees to stand on.
