The Cock of the Rock Bird

The Cock of the Rock is a very strange looking and named bird. It lives in Guiana Brazil ,Venezuela, Bolivia, in the Canopy Layer of the rainforest. Its lifespan is 7 years. It mostly eats fruits, and its predators are hawks, Red tailed boas, falcons, and eagles. It's a very colorful bird which makes it very attractive to females and predators. In 1,000 years from now, there will be less trees in the rainforest making the Cock of the Rock more spotted than ever, but that won’t happen . In 1,000 years, the Cock of the Rock will have darker feathers, much like the females, because of the loss of trees in the area, this bird will need to camouflage with its habitat. It will lose the crest, being thinner and easier to escape. With these adaptations, the Cock of the Rock will be the master of the rainforest.
