The Congo secondary forests have flooded leaving the Dryas monkey in a much more diverse and different ecosystem. Though the ecosystem changed the Dryas monkey still retains its physical appearance to a degree, with some minor adaptations for surviving the Congolian marsh. The most noticeable adaptation would be the increased size of their teeth that would make consuming small fish easier, while their arms are thicker to break said fish like a glow stick. The Dryas monkeys spine would also be affected as they are more mobile and articulate in their movements, as their prehensile tail has an increased length and girth for prolonged handing over water holes for prey.
