The Black Capped Squirrel Monkey's habitat suffers from rising sea levels, causing rapid deterioration. The Black Capped Squirrel Monkey will adopt a flatter tail, silkier hair, and webbed fingers to help traverse through the water. It will also get darker in color to better blend in with the marsh environment.
