The Arapaima

The Arapaima is not a well known creature but its habitat is stagnant water bodies with low dissolved oxygen and a wide range of aquatic habitats in the Amazon river. Due to climate change, some of the water will evaporate. It will need to breathe air more and grow legs to walk to water. That Arapaima will grow lungs in order to breathe outside of water, and lose its gills. The Arapaima will grow legs to walk to different bodies of water and food. The Arapaima diet will change to birds, and some plants. It will have a stronger jaw. It will form a stronger body to carry and jump out of the water to catch birds, and some vines to eat.
