The Scarlet Macaw

The Scarlet Macaw is a bird that has been on earth for about 900 to 1150 years. These birds live in humid evergreen forests. This bird's habitat is most likely to change due to habitat loss and illegal pet trading. In order to survive, the Scarlet Macaw will have to develop stronger muscles so it can fly away from the people and animals trying to capture it. The Scarlet Macaw could also develop sharper claws to defend itself from predators and humans. The Scarlet Macaw might also have to change colors so it can blend in better with its surroundings. Lasty, the Scarlet Macaw will have to get thicker feathers so it can live in different places. These are some of the things that the Scarlet might have to change to survive.
