My animal is the Black Caiman. The Black Caiman is a crocodile that lives in the Amazon Rainforest. It is nocturnal, it has a thing called a third eyelid for diving, and webbed feet. When it’s dark and there’s a bit of sunlight left the sunlight reflects from the Black Caimans eyes and makes it easier for the Black Caiman to see while under water or when its dark. It has a strong jaw for biting. It doesn’t use its teeth for chewing. In the future the Black Caiman will adapt to the Amazon River drying up due to climate change. It will run faster, a shorter tail for running, it will become slightly smaller for less weight. It will have stronger legs for running. The third eyelid will be removed for the Black Caimans adaptations. The Amazon Rainforest will have less rain. Black Caimans will eat more land animals.
