Right now, the animal is called a jaguar. Some jaguars live in the Arizona mountains, some live where there are sea turtles, and some live in the South American rainforest. Jaguars live on the ground of the rainforest where they eat crocodiles, piranhas, and capybaras. They use their claws to climb trees and sometimes eat birds. In the future, the rainforest might have less animals for a jaguar to eat. Some animals will die of starvation. To find new food the jaguar will go underground. The color of their fur will be darker because of dirt and for camouflage. Their teeth will grow longer for biting prey. Their claws will not be retractable anymore so they can dig. My new animal is called a tunnel cat because it digs tunnels in the ground, lives in them, and has their babies in the tunnel.
