Their long curved claws provide a powerful grip as they hang from branches. They are able to sleep with their arms and legs close together and their head tucked in so it makes them look like part of the tree. They mate in the treetops and give birth hanging upside down in the trees. Sloths are so sedentary that algae grows on their long fur. The greenish color of the algae provides camouflage that helps sloths blend into the rainforest canopy.
After climate change the Rainforest will get warmer and that can be really hard for the sloths. Here's how it affects them: sloths will get too hot and loose hair and feel sick. Trees might start to go away and they wont have homes to live in or food to eat. They will have to find a different place to live and start eating different foods.
