Red bellied piranha lives in the lower part of the amazon rainforest river, but because of climate change i think in the next 50 to 100 years that will change. The piranhas live near the surface, because different bigger animals that eat piranhas.
In the future the piranha habitat will change and the piranhas will change in color instead if being red yellow and green they will mostly be all green and blend in to their habitat so they don't have to worry about their predators as much and their habitat will change a lot and they won't live in the amazon rainforest anymore they will live in small lakes and rivers.
The red bellied piranha eats many things like fish, insects, crustaceans, and seeds but they will also eat almost anything that falls into the water including human flesh.
