The pleurodira’s habitat is freshwater swamps, rivers, and forest creeks. They eat fish, insects,, crustaceans, and others, but that will change. It will change due to climate change and become a dry desert area. There will be little water there unless it rains, and very plain. They will eat mostly plants and insects, but sometimes fish if they can find any. In the desert it’s sandy, because of that, the pleurodira will develop a second eyelid that is translucent to help keep sand out of their eyes. Next, their legs will grow longer so they can run faster away from predators to survive. Their shell will start to turn lighter so that they can try to camouflage with the sand. I estimate that it will take 500 years for their habitat to fully change, and they will likely survive because they can adapt to their new habitats after 500 years.
