The bushmaster is a sandy color that helps it disguise Itself to look like its environment. It has deadly venom to protect itself. The bushmaster is deadly to humans also It is nocturnal because of the sun's heat. And to avoid day time predators some predators are small desert snakes, large birds, and desert foxes. Its movement is slow so it can conserve energy to hunt lizards, small mammals, and small rodents. It lives underneath small rocks, and in holes. The bushmaster doesn't travel in a group. Its bones are made of calcium phosphate. its fangs are not very long but still are very dangerous.
