Whip scorpions are nocturnal meaning they are active at night when the humidity levels are higher helping to prevent dehydration. This also allows them to avoid the extreme heat and sunlight of the day. The dense rainforest environment provides constant humidity which is crucial for them. If they had to adapt to climate change the whip scorpion would grow hard spikes to warn off predators and to stand the heat and to spray acid instead of vinegar. They would grow as big as humans to be stronger and shaper pinchers and more poisonous bites. These new adaptations would help them survive in their new environment.
